Business Analyst (Banking Industry / SQL / $6,800) - Pasir Ris

• Liaise extensively with external and internal stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
• Lead design thinking sessions and facilitate requirements discussions.
• Conduct requirements analysis and assess feasibility of functional specifications.
• Highlight any gaps, construction efforts, or technical challenges early in the process.
• Translate business requirements into detailed use cases and technical solutions.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of functional and system requirements.
• (Good to have) Define system-level application architecture, high-level/detailed design, policies, and risk mitigations.
• Explain architectural decisions and technical solutions to stakeholders and clients.
• Prepare and manage comprehensive documentation including:
• Requirements & functional specifications
• Design documentation
• Data management frameworks
• Infrastructure and migration planning
• Develop and deliver system training programs to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices to ensure full requirement coverage.
• Conduct functional and backend testing, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure quality standards.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder briefings.
• Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive them to resolution.
• Conduct change impact analysis for evolving client needs.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams for successful project delivery.
• Support pre-sales efforts through technical proposals and solutioning.

• Domain Experience: Must have prior experience working in the banking industry.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA)
• Preferable experience in Java environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and SQL is a must.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with persistence in issue resolution.
• Experience in change management and issue resolution processes.
• Ability to analyze backend logs and perform data mapping/categorization.
• Solid functional and backend testing experience with traceability to requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Self-driven, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong presentation and customer-service orientation.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• A committed team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
