Job Summary

The role will be responsible for end-to-end analytics and data solutions, which will include data sourcing, data transformation, predictive modelling and creating Tableau dashboards with UIUX standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Scorecards across CIB to track performance against agreed thresholds and engage relevant stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Develop dashboard, complete testing, documentation, launch communication and ensure automated refresh mechanism has been set up
  • Create strong blending data capabilities within team so that we can come up with useful client information from data very quickly
  • Serve as a critical partner to the business in delivering actionable insights & data/ analytics-based solutions to business needs and problems
  • Help educate business on available analytics capabilities & tools
  • Planning and scoping of key metrics that need to be tracked for the stream/function/cluster (e.g. Client Coverage, Conduct and Control, Financial Crime, Data Quality etc.)
  • Support stakeholders to assist them in understanding the objective of the dashboards and agree on computation of metrics, thresholds, and implications.
  • Identify potential improvement areas based on the actual performance of metrics
  • Proactively identify of risks and concerns, including escalation to all relevant stakeholders Adherence to the Group Code of Conduct
  • Complete all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learning within stated timeframes.
  • Develop dashboard, complete testing, documentation, launch communication and ensure automated refresh mechanism has been set up
  • Serve as a critical partner to the business in delivering actionable insights & data/ analytics-based solutions to business needs and problems
  • Help educate business on available analytics capabilities & tools
  • Agree with the stakeholders across CIB on the key metrics to be tracked as part of Scorecards and decide on the thresholds across all metrics
  • Visualise scorecards using tools such as Tableau and DataIku indicating the trend of key metrics and performance against threshold
  • Understand the core concepts, processes on Data Manipulation and be familiar with the tools such as DataIku and Tableau Prep to generate reports and dashboard solutions based on demands of the business.
  • Engage with business stakeholders across countries and gather requirements and liaise with ETL team to get the required data preparation.
  • Engage and execute the dashboards on Tableau or similar visualization tools
  • Explore statistical and automation tools like R, SAS, Python for predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Engage relevant technology teams to embed advanced statistical tools
  • Provide insights to senior management and the network based on MIS and analytics
  • Highlight any perceived risk and early alerts to the management based on data analytics
  • Perform data validation and dashboard performance optimization

Our Ideal Candidate

Skills & Experience
  • A proven track record with 5+ years of relevant analytics work experience and demonstrated career progression / increase in responsibilities
  • Deep understanding of the visualization concepts and advanced skills using Tableau
  • Experience in developing dashboards, storyboard prototypes with quick turnaround time
  • Understands the core concepts, processes on Data Manipulation and should be familiar with the tools such as DataIku, Alteryx or Tableau Prep.
  • Good knowledge and skills in writing SQL / PostgreSQL / MySQL codes
  • Anti Money Laundering
  • Good to have skills in Python and data science libraries
  • Experience in project management from business requirement definition, solution validation, user testing, technical documentation and production roll out
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to varying levels of management
  • Highly driven and motivated with an eager-to-learn attitude and actively seek out ways to improve processes, people, and products Good presentation, time management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
Qualification
  • Strong academic record: Degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
