About the role
We're seeking a talented HR Executive or HR Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's HR initiatives and supporting our growing workforce in the East Region. What you'll be doing
HR Manager:
- Overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions as well as facilities management.
- Manage HR operations for both local and regional branch offices.
- Lead overseas talent acquisition, including recruitment, salary proposals, and onboarding processes.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals and salary review exercises.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement employee training and development programs.
- Ensure timely completion of key HR processes such as contract renewals and employment confirmations.
- Review and update company policies to ensure compliance with the Employment Act and relevant government regulations.
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters when required.
- Participate in and support global HR initiatives led by headquarters.
- Represent the company in corporate compliance areas including ISO, environmental standards, workplace safety, and health matters.
- Oversee facilities management, ensuring annual contract renewals and resolving ad-hoc facilities-related issues.
HR Executive:
- Provide HR advice to support managers in improving company structure, including succession planning and talent management
- Review and update HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with Employment Act and Tripartite Guidelines
- Handle recruitment activities, including working with agencies, direct hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Manage employee resignation process and offboarding procedures
- Plan and organise staff training and development programs
- Track employee probation confirmations and contract renewals
- Prepare payroll documents, including overtime and incentive calculations
- Approve employee medical leave and claims
- Update and maintain monthly HR reports
- Respond to employee enquiries and requests
- Process HR-related invoices
- Carry out daily HR administrative wor
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
- Experience in core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee relations
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for driving positive employee experiences and organisational development
