Logistics Officer
About the role
As a Logistics Officer at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This is a full-time role based in the Bishan Central Region, where you will play a crucial part in supporting the manufacturing, transport and logistics functions of the business.
What you'll be doing- Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of various materials, parts, and equipment
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
- Organising the efficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to optimise transportation
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of goods
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving measures
- Preparing and analysing reports on logistics performance and KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or warehousing role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software
- Knowledge of relevant logistics and transportation regulations and best practices
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Class 3 Driving License
