About the role
We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at The French Farm Co Pte Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base across the Singapore HORECA and food service sector.You will play a key strategic role in identifying and securing new partnership opportunities to help us achieve our ambitious growth objectives.
What you'll be doing- Developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to generate new business leads and convert them into long-term customers
- Conducting market research to identify and assess potential new business opportunities that align with our company's offerings and growth plans
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients through proactive networking, cold-calling, and other business development activities
- Negotiating and closing new sales contracts while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborating cross-functionally with our marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support the successful onboarding of new clients
- Tracking and reporting on key sales metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of your initiatives
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in a business development or new sales role, preferably within the Foodservice/HORECA industry
- Proven ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities through a consultative, solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with the new business development landscape and an understanding of the Foodservice/HORECA market
- Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
- Strong existing customer network to leverage on
