Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor
About the role
Right Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Singapore. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in the delivery of our construction projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project cost control and commercial management, ensuring the financial success of our developments.
What you'll be doing- Preparing and analysing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents.
- Monitoring and controlling project budgets and expenditures.
- Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts.
- Providing expert cost and commercial advice to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Preparing monthly financial reports and project valuations.
- Supporting the delivery of complex, high-profile construction projects.
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in managing the commercial aspects of major construction projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
