Technical Support Engineer

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer (AV/IT Solutions)

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer to support and manage AV & IT projects. This role focuses on digital signage, smart office systems, IPTV, network infrastructure and broadcast related equipment such as encoder, decoder, modulator.

Job Objective:

• To deliver and support proposed solutions and services through working closely with internal teams, manufacturers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, collaborate, and work with internal Sales and Project team, and external parties like, Consultant, Main Contractor, Subcontractor, Manufacturer, and Supplier.
• Interpret schematic designs and technical drawings.
• Deploy, configure and support solutions including digital signage, smart office systems, IPTV, network infrastructure and broadcast related equipment.
• Perform on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of AV/IT systems
• Monitor and manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and change requests
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and reports
• Provide technical support and resolve system issues in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct training to end users on implemented solutions

Educational Qualifications:

• Min. ITE/Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual or related fields

Experience:

• Min 1 year experience
• Basic knowledge of networking (e.g., IP addressing, VLANs, switching) is preferred
• Familiarity with AV systems, IPTV, or digital signage solutions is a plus
• Hands-on experience with broadcast equipment (encoders/decoders/modulators) is a plus
• Able to work independently in the fast moving and challenging environment
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
