Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the company's financial objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Review and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff where applicable.
• Support management with financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling a full set of accounts.
• Familiarity with ERP or cloud-based accounting systems.
• Prior experience in audit or managing a small accounting team is a plus.
