Security officer
About the role
Peregrine Security Pte Limited is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in the Central, East, West and North Region. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises and assets.
What you'll be doing- Patrolling and monitoring the assigned premises to detect and prevent any security breaches or incidents
- Conducting regular checks and inspections of the facilities, equipment, and access points
- Responding to alarm activations, emergencies, and other security-related situations in a prompt and professional manner
- Maintaining detailed logs and reports of all security-related activities and incidents
- Liaising with relevant authorities, such as the police, in the event of an emergency or security incident
- Providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients or visitors as needed
- Completed Basic Licensing Course (BLC) or equivalent security training
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Fluency in English and proficiency in additional languages would be an advantage
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
