About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our dynamic catering operations team in the West region. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading a talented culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our valued clients.This full-time role offers a competitive salary, 5-day work week and attractive benefits package.
What you'll be doing- Oversee daily kitchen operations across Central Kitchen/Catering Operations and multiple client sites
- Ensure consistent food quality, safety, and cost efficiency across all locations
- Plan and develop menus for institutional catering services
- Standardise recipes, cooking methods, portion sizes, and food presentation
- Design menus that balance food quality, nutrition, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Monitor food costing, waste control, and production efficiency
- Work closely with operations teams to improve workflow and manpower planning
- Support food tastings, client presentations, and feedback sessions
- Assist in client retention and business development through culinary support
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company standards
- Conduct kitchen inspections and enforce corrective actions when needed
- Lead, train, and develop chefs and kitchen teams
- Build a strong, disciplined, and high-performance kitchen culture
- Support special events, VIP dining, and customised catering requests when required
- Around 8 – 10 years of culinary experience, with strong leadership experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef
- Proven experience in institutional catering, contract catering, or large-scale food production
- Experience managing multi-site kitchen operations or central kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food costing, portion control, and waste management
- Familiar with both Asian and Western cuisines
- Experience in hotels, fine dining, private dining, or banquet operations is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and manage large kitchen teams
- Good understanding of food safety, HACCP standards, and Singapore food regulations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (including client-facing exposure)
- Able to work mainly on-site with occasional external client meetings
