As a Regulatory Specialist (EMEA & SEA) at EBANX, you will be responsible for:

• MAS License Ownership (Singapore): Acting as the primary custodian and designated liaison for the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring full compliance, managing filings, and coordinating with Treasury, Product, and Directors.
• Regional Governance: Defining and maintaining the regulatory compliance strategy for the Middle East and Southeast Asia (SEA) regions.
• Expansion Strategy: Leading the regulatory roadmap for high-priority projects, such as our transition into Egypt, and supporting the Product/Expansion teams in assessments for new markets in SEA & MENA.
• License Lifecycle Management: Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our ongoing global and regional licenses to ensure business continuity.
• Risk Monitoring: Proactively tracking the regulatory landscape to identify legislative changes that could impact our operations.
• External Counsel Management: Serving as the single point of contact for external law firms globally, translating legal advice into actionable business protocols.
• Cross-functional Support: Providing essential support for merchant-facing matters, budget tracking, and preparing internal presentations for stakeholders.

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance or legal roles within the Fintech or Payments industry.
• Direct experience dealing with financial regulators (experience with MAS is a significant plus).
• Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in SEA and/or EMEA regions.
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business and product specifications.
• Proven ability to lead strategic expansion projects and manage external law firms.
• Advanced/Fluent English (read, write, and speak), as you will represent EBANX before global regulators and partners.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to risk and problem-solving.
