IT Support Engineer (Level 1.5) #0027

Location: Assigned by Client (Healthcare Environment)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Desktop Engineer to provide onsite IT support in a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user devices and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite IT support including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and escalation of desktop issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (Windows, Mac, iPads)
• Support Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and in-house applications
• Manage software installation, reinstallation, and software distribution for end users
• Support hardware disposal processes including secure data wiping and documentation
• Liaise with vendors for issue resolution, maintenance, and escalations
• Perform IT requests such as user setup, moves, adds, and changes
• Support business continuity plan (BCP) exercises and desktop readiness
• Provide printer support including basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and vendor coordination
• Ensure systems and devices are functioning according to service standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support role
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic IT troubleshooting
• Familiar with Active Directory, Group Policy, proxy settings, and endpoint security tools
• Able to perform basic network troubleshooting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
