Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work for electric buses and trucks.
- Carry out preventive maintenance / corrective maintenance on electric vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Managing and maintaining high-voltage battery systems, including monitoring battery health, balancing cells, and performing capacity tests.
- Updating and calibrating the vehicle's control systems, ensuring they are running the latest software for optimal performance.
- Ensuring all electrical systems and components meet safety standards and regulations set by relevant authorities.
- Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections performed on each vehicle.
- Practice safe work procedures and safety rules implemented at the workplace.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- ITE NTC 3/2 or Nitec or Diploma in Automotive Technology/ Engineering .
- 2-3 years’ experience in automotive trade, heavy vehicle repair & maintenance would be an added advantage.
- Experience in operating common workshop tools (e.g. Air Jack, Hoist, wheel balancing machine etc).
- Possess work related licences, would be an added advantage (e.g. certified in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology, WAH, Rigger & Signalman, Forklift, Singapore Driving Class 3/4).
