Toa Payoh - Content Editor (Video & Social Media Specialist)

You will play a key role in shaping engaging content for our digital platforms, ensuring that our brand stays relevant and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, enhance, and produce high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media, including Xiao Hong Shu (RedNote), Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Implement engaging visual effects, motion graphics, and transitions to create dynamic content.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring appropriate aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.
• Manage post-production processes, including colour correction, audio enhancement, and captioning.

• Stay up to date with Xiao Hong Shu (RedNote) trends, algorithm changes, and content styles, ensuring our content remains competitive and engaging.
• Research and apply emerging social media trends, including trending sounds, challenges, and visual styles.
• Work with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with brand messaging and audience preferences.

• Create thumbnails, banners, and simple graphics to complement video content.
• Assist in designing promotional materials, such as posters, infographics, and social media visuals.
• Maintain visual consistency across all content in line with brand guidelines.

• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (After Effects, Canva, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Xiao Hong Shu (RedNote) platform, WeChat and its content trends.
• Familiarity with other social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
• A keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team to execute creative ideas.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to meet deadlines.

• Ability to shoot and direct video content.
• Familiarity with AI-driven editing tools.
• Experience with livestream content creation.
• Knowledge of SEO for video content.
