MNC Assistant Manager, Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

Lead daily logistics, warehouse, and transport operations for one of the leading companies, manage teams and vendors, and drive process improvements for efficient, cost-effective operations.

Job Description:

• Lead logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service teams to optimize daily operations.
• Develop strategies to improve inbound/outbound logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, waste reduction, and workplace safety programs.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring third-party compliance with SLAs.
• Manage 3PL operations, including vendors, teams, and service level agreements.
• Oversee P&L management, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
• Leverage automation tools, data analytics, Power BI, and Tableau
• Oversee daily operating costs, manpower requisitions, overtime approvals, and ad-hoc expenses.
• Handle recruitment, selection, and performance management for supervisory and executive staff.
• Manage stock takes, disposal approvals, and investigate cargo damage or major inventory discrepancies.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong vendor management, customer relationship, and conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience performing root-cause analyses.
• Able to handle high-pressure situations and manage tight deadlines.
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience with 2–3 years in people management.
• Forklift/VNA licenses and WSH certifications are preferred.
