Lead daily logistics, warehouse, and transport operations for one of the leading companies, manage teams and vendors, and drive process improvements for efficient, cost-effective operations.
Job Description:
- Lead logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customer service teams to optimize daily operations.
- Develop strategies to improve inbound/outbound logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, waste reduction, and workplace safety programs.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring third-party compliance with SLAs.
- Manage 3PL operations, including vendors, teams, and service level agreements.
- Oversee P&L management, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Leverage automation tools, data analytics, Power BI, and Tableau
- Oversee daily operating costs, manpower requisitions, overtime approvals, and ad-hoc expenses.
- Handle recruitment, selection, and performance management for supervisory and executive staff.
- Manage stock takes, disposal approvals, and investigate cargo damage or major inventory discrepancies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong vendor management, customer relationship, and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience performing root-cause analyses.
- Able to handle high-pressure situations and manage tight deadlines.
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience with 2–3 years in people management.
- Forklift/VNA licenses and WSH certifications are preferred.
