Coffee Machine Showroom Operations Executive

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Coffee Machine Showroom Operations Executive to manage daily showroom activities, conduct coffee education sessions, and drive sales through engaging customer experiences.
This role requires existing or building strong coffee knowledge, confident communication skills, and the ability to educate, demonstrate, and empathy to introduce coffee to aspiring home barista to more well honed baristas with varying levels of coffee knowledge
Key Responsibilities- Showroom Sales Support & Customer Experience
- Welcome and engage walk-in customers professionally
- Conduct live brewing demonstrations for espresso, filter, and specialty coffee
- Recommend suitable coffee machines and grinders based on customer needs and budget
- Advise customers on machine comparisons, features, and long-term suitability
- Handle sales enquiries and follow up with potential buyers
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assist customers in choosing the right machine for home or commercial use
- Explain grinder pairing and workflow setup
- Provide honest, experience-based recommendations
- Build long-term relationships with customers
- Coffee Education & Classes
- Plan and conduct coffee classes and workshops (espresso basics, dialing in, grinder calibration, etc.). We already run existing classes and workshops.
- Teach customers proper brewing techniques
- Educate customers on machine maintenance and grinder adjustments
- Create a structured learning experience that enhances brand credibility for new lessons that we may not have held before.
- Product Knowledge & Technical Advisory
- Answer technical questions about coffee machines and grinders
- Troubleshoot basic customer issues
- Provide guidance on machine setup, usage, and care
- Continuously study and stay updated on all products sold in-store
- Administrative Tasks
- Draft and send marketing emails and promotional campaigns for the backend team to drive sales.
- Respond to coffee-related emails and online enquiries
- Maintain customer database and assist in follow-up communications
- Support social media or content creation where required
- Strong passion for coffee and brewing.
- Prior experience in specialty coffee or barista work preferred.
- Confident in public speaking and teaching
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Driven with customer-first approach
- Willingness to continuously upskill in coffee knowledge and equipment. Coffee is always evolving. A good foundation is beneficial but more importantly you need to be open to keep up with the coffee trends.
- Experience with espresso machines and grinder calibration
- Basic technical troubleshooting ability
- Email marketing or basic digital marketing exposure
