Business Development Manager – AW LAW LLC
Job Description
Position: Business Development ExecutiveLocation: Singapore
Reports to: HR Manager / Director
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the firm’s objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and service areas.
- Client Engagement
- Manage and grow client relationships; monitor satisfaction and develop retention strategies.
- Conduct client feedback interviews and surveys.
- Marketing & Branding
- Coordinate firm branding, marketing materials, website content, and social media.
- Work with lawyers to publish thought leadership articles and client alerts.
- Pitching & Proposals
- Prepare tailored pitch documents, proposals, and RFP submissions.
- Assist legal teams with deal/experience summaries and client presentations.
- Legal Directories & Rankings
- Manage submissions to Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000, etc.
- Collect matter highlights and client testimonials for rankings.
- Event Management
- Plan and execute webinars, CPD seminars, and networking events.
- Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships with external organisations.
- Research & Analysis
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market research, and client intelligence reports.
- Track BD metrics, pipeline activity, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
- International Outreach
- Build referral relationships with overseas law firms.
- Support cross-border marketing initiatives and conference participation.
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business, Law, or Communications.
- At least 5 years of experience in legal or professional services business development.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s legal and regulatory environment.
- Strong writing, presentation, and project management skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., InterAction, HubSpot) is a plus.
