Operations Manager - Bukit Batok

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the school. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management to support our educational mission and ensure smooth internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilities & Maintenance
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Manage vendor contracts, including janitorial, security, and maintenance services.
  • Ensure the school premises meet health, safety, and environmental standards (e.g NEA, fire safety)
  1. Health & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations. 
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures. 
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and training.
  1. Administrative Operations
  • Supervise administrative staff (e.g. maintenance team, cleaners, security).
  • Ensure eƯicient administrative procedures and document management systems.
  • Support school events and coordinate logistics as needed.
  1. Procurement & Inventory
  • Manage procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor budgets and maintain records of purchases.
  • Oversee inventory tracking and storage.
  1. Transportation & Security
  • Coordinate school transportation services and liaise with transport providers. 
  • Ensure security protocols are in place and regularly reviewed. 
  • Supervise entry systems and visitor management procedures.
  1. Strategic Planning & Communication
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with school goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in planning for infrastructure development and improvement projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory compliance and international school standards is a plus (e.g Edutrust, ISO)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
