Operations Manager - Bukit Batok
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the school. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management to support our educational mission and ensure smooth internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities & Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Manage vendor contracts, including janitorial, security, and maintenance services.
- Ensure the school premises meet health, safety, and environmental standards (e.g NEA, fire safety)
- Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and training.
- Administrative Operations
- Supervise administrative staff (e.g. maintenance team, cleaners, security).
- Ensure eƯicient administrative procedures and document management systems.
- Support school events and coordinate logistics as needed.
- Procurement & Inventory
- Manage procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor budgets and maintain records of purchases.
- Oversee inventory tracking and storage.
- Transportation & Security
- Coordinate school transportation services and liaise with transport providers.
- Ensure security protocols are in place and regularly reviewed.
- Supervise entry systems and visitor management procedures.
- Strategic Planning & Communication
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with school goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Participate in planning for infrastructure development and improvement projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with local regulatory compliance and international school standards is a plus (e.g Edutrust, ISO)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
