Toa Payoh - Business Analyst - Temenos | Contract

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a Core Banking Transformation program. The ideal candidate will have solid domain knowledge in core banking systems, hands-on experience with Temenos, and a proven track record in banking technology transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
• Write clear and comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), including Temenos-specific documentation
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to align requirements with system capabilities
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping
• Support testing activities including test case creation, coordination, and defect management
• Assist in data migration planning, cutover strategy, and go-live support
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit requirements across business and technology teams
• Ensure business requirements align with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., AML/KYC, FATCA, PSD2, Basel III)
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector
• Solid knowledge of core banking domains (e.g., accounts, payments, loans, deposits, interest)
• Hands-on experience with Temenos, including module knowledge, methodology (TIM), and relevant project exposure
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and producing BRDs/FRDs
• Familiarity with core banking systems such as Temenos, Avaloq, Finacle, Flexcube, or proprietary platforms
• Experience in core banking transformation, upgrades, or migration projects
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and basic data models
• Experience aligning business processes with compliance and regulatory requirements
• Exposure to enterprise-level systems such as integration layers and data platforms is good to have
