Position Overview

This role is part of Synapxe Innovation Capabilities Enablement (ICE) team focusing on Sector Alliance demand management for innovation projects. Your main role is to solicit, identify and analyse potential innovation projects for implementation.

You will need to drive and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to drive the implementation of the innovation projects under the Synapxe Innovation Programme. The scope of work also includes managing innovation projects under the Call for Innovation (CFI) framework.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage engagement with relevant entities to generate demand, build a pipeline, and convert capabilities, directly contributing to Synapxe corporate KPIs
  • Oversee or support the assigned lead through all project life cycle phases to ensure delivery of expected outcomes
  • Identify and evaluate innovation projects sourced from various forums, with the primary objective of converting these into structured collaborations between end users and industry solution providers
  • Recommend and experiment with innovative approaches and methodologies to achieve project objectives
  • Collaborate closely with team members on both strategic and operational matters to continuously refine departmental and organisational processes
  • Lead projects decisively, ensuring completion and integration of interdependent initiatives
  • Communicate effectively to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze user workflows, objectives, and pain points to define requirements for innovative solutions
  • Recommend pathways and options by aligning user needs with available department, organisational, and industry solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with users as the primary liaison for technical and functional teams
  • Manage and prioritize the project pipeline, presenting collaboration opportunities for endorsement
  • Contribute to strategic planning and execute operational activities to ensure alignment with target outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in roles such as Management Consultant, Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, or a similar discipline
  • Prior experience in IT, healthcare, or HealthTech is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and ambiguous requirements
  • Employ critical thinking to arrive at effective, well considered solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, including translating business challenges into clear documentation, formulating thoughtful questions to elicit requirements, and presenting clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • High degree of responsibility, accountability, and self motivation, with a focus on achieving personal, departmental, and organisational objectives
  • Ability to work autonomously while proactively seeking support when needed
  • Demonstrated integrity, adhering to core values and maintaining trustworthiness to advance public healthcare objectives in Singapore
