About the role
Kindle Kids International School is seeking a Part Time Teacher AS/A Level to join our dynamic and forward-thinking secondary teaching team. This is a part-time position based in our Novena Central Region campus, offering flexibility whilst making a significant impact on students' academic progress and personal development.In this role, you will deliver high-quality instruction to advanced secondary students, fostering critical thinking, subject mastery, and a genuine passion for learning. This position is integral to our commitment to providing an internationally recognised education that prepares students for university and beyond.
What you'll be doing- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with AS/A Level curricula and examination board requirements
- Assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement
- Preparing students effectively for external examinations through targeted revision sessions and practice assessments
- Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress and performance in accordance with school policies
- Collaborating with departmental colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence, consistency and quality across teaching teams
- Contributing to the pastoral care of students, supporting their wellbeing and personal development alongside academic needs
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities relevant to secondary education
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements and areas for development
- Utilising school resources and technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent) or qualified teacher status equivalent in your jurisdiction
- Proven expertise and strong subject knowledge in your specialist AS/A Level subject area
- Demonstrated experience teaching secondary students at advanced levels, with evidence of examination success
- A thorough understanding of AS/A Level examination board requirements and assessment standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple classes and responsibilities efficiently
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices that support students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
- A passion for your subject and a commitment to continuous professional development
- Familiarity with international education frameworks and the Cambridge curriculum or similar curricula is advantageous
- Experience with learning management systems and educational technology platforms is desirable
