Role Overview -
The Business Development Manager APAC will lead the growth of Booking.com's Travel Media Network across APAC, focusing on driving sponsored advertising solutions. You’ll play a crucial role in driving growth, building new partnerships and delivering impactful advertising solutions.This role will involve ads sales skills and requires someone with a background in business development, a good understanding of the advertising landscape and who is eager to take our advertising business to the next level. The role will report into the Commercial Manager Advertising based in Amsterdam.

Guide internal education on the advertising program through quarterly kick-offs and other training sessions. Represent Booking Display Advertising at partner-facing events and conferences.
Role Qualifications and Requirements -- 3+ years of digital media sales experience, ideally within the travel or hospitality industry. Experience with sponsored advertising is essential.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce and travel industry and related trends
- Good knowledge of digital ad formats
- Proven track record in sales or business development, ideally in the advertising sector.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead high-level presentations, manage client relationships, and ensure alignment between client objectives and internal team execution.
- Proficient with tools like Excel and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Fluency in English & one other language (preferably Japanese, Korean or Chinese).
