Finance Officer // Govt Sector (Contract)
Location: LavenderWorking Hours: Mon-Thu(9am-630pm), Fri(9am-6pm)
Salary: $20 per hr
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Job Scope:
- Maintain accounts to ensure accurate recording of receipts and payments.
- Manage development and funds, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Track and follow up on outstanding invoices on a weekly basis.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and supporting financial documents.
- Process vendor invoices and liaise with external parties for payments.
- Handle daily collections and disbursements.
- Verify budgets and perform uploads into the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly financial schedules and fund position reports.
- Process quarterly reimbursements and monthly grant claims in a timely manner.
Requirement:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Proficient in accounting processes and MS Excel.
- Experience with Workday or other ERP/finance systems is an advantage.
