Junior Planner (Production & Materials)
Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for Supply Chain Operational Support for cross business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor the final approval of machine builds through the complete production cycle.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams to ensure business needs and customer requirements are met.
- Monitor weekly (or daily in demand) Shipment/MFG schedules and coordinate activities with Production/ Engineering/ Purchasing/ Logistics/ Customer Ops and Marketing as required.
- Ensure orders are released timely for Machines build & Customization for shipments.
- Manage shipment grids to build plan/ change models/ conversion/ demo/ rotation.
- Follow-up shortages with buyers on ETA & escalate issue affecting build/ ship
- Present in Weekly MPS meeting, Production Material Shortage meeting, Quarterly Business Review meeting.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of working experiences in Materials and Production planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP software, Microsoft Office, Excel Macro and/or Oracle report writing a plus
- Familiar with production flow and constraints.
- Familiar with scheduling mechanics and procedures
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Good organization skills, decision making capabilities, and detail oriented.
- Independent, self-motivated, responsible.
- Ability to multi-task and a good team player
- Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
