R&D Process Technologist (Food Manufacturing) ?

Boon Lay
Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 (depending on experience) + AWS + VB
Working arrangement: Office hours (Mon–Fri)

We are hiring an R&D Process Technologist to support product development and process improvement within a food manufacturing R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle internal sample-making requests and perform standard laboratory tests
Ensure accurate recording and consistency of test results
Support development of new intermediate food products using in-house processing technologies
Assist in innovative projects aligned with industry and customer requirements
Independently design and conduct lab experiments to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes
Support sensory evaluation preparation and documentation of results
Coordinate raw material sourcing with procurement teams
Act as liaison between R&D and Production to support scale-up from lab to manufacturing
Troubleshoot production and customer-related technical issues
Maintain lab equipment, ensure proper housekeeping and servicing
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
