Kitchen operation executive - Bukit Merah
The Kitchen Crew is responsible for assisting in the daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. The role ensures that all dishes are prepared efficiently, consistently, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation such as cutting, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
Support cooks and chefs in the cooking and plating of food items.
Ensure all food is prepared according to food safety and hygiene regulations (SFA/MOH standards).
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
Handle and store kitchen supplies and ingredients properly.
Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries of ingredients and kitchen stock.
Dispose of kitchen waste safely and keep work areas tidy at all times.
Cooperate with other kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Chef.
Requirements:
Minimum Primary / Secondary education or equivalent.
Prior experience in F&B or kitchen operations is an advantage (but not mandatory).
Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
