Air Export Executive

The incumbent will manage and execute the logistics operations for shipping goods via air freight - export. This includes organizing shipments, liaising with both internal and external parties, processing customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with relevant air freight regulations.

• Preparations of documents and airlines labels. (MAWB, HAWB, Manifest, COO)
• Execute air freight export operations
• Updating of freight database, including job file status and milestones.
• Liaise with both internal and external parties like inter departments, customers, vendors and freight forwarders to arrange and manage shipments.
• Update customer with flight details and POD for Door-to-Door shipments
• Send e-mail pre-alert to respective destination stations
• Follow-up with destinations stations for POD for Door-to-Door shipments
• Ensure air export operations process and procedures and executed timely and effectively.
• Inspect and assess physical cargo to determine if any re-packing is required.
• Liase and coordinate with warehouse for cargo details and movements.
• Follow-up with carriers / co-loaders for any off-loading
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

• Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
• Good working experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
• DG Certification would be an added advantage
• Meticulous and organized
• Effective team player
• Good communication skills (to communicate with internal and external stakeholders)
• Fresh graduates who are keen to develop a career in Freight Forwarding is welcomed.

WORKING HOURS:

• 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
• Work location at Changi Airport Cargo
• Willing to work rotation shifting (afternoon shift from 1 pm to 10 pm, once a month for a week)
