Lead Electrical System Design & Engineering

Responsible for the design and development of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchboards, motors, and earthing systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

Prepare and Manage EPC Engineering Deliverables

Develop and review electrical engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, load calculations, cable schedules, datasheets, and technical specifications in accordance with EPC project standards.

Ensure Compliance with Singapore Codes and Standards

Ensure all electrical designs and engineering works comply with relevant international standards and Singapore regulations (e.g., SS638, SS555, SS650, CP/89A), and coordinate with PE and LEW for design approval and statutory compliance.

Coordinate with Multidisciplinary Teams and Support Project Execution

Work closely with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, process, etc.) and provide technical support during design, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

B.S. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university with minimum 7 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects.
Have minimum 3 years in similar lead role in major LNG & oil/gas projects.
Have minimum 3 years electrical and lightning engineering working experience in Singapore.
Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be applied for LNG & oil/gas projects during EPC phase of execution. Specifically, must be fully familiar with Electrical 89A, SS638, SS555, SS650 and Singapore Standards.
Fully familiar with MV/LV transformer, switchboard, motor, earthing etc. design.
Have experience to prepare EPC deliverables and working experience with PE and LEW.
