Job Description
- Manage and optimise inventory operation (provision, control, distribution and aging management; stock transfer between SLOCs; consignment stock).
- Manage warehousing operation (batch in and batch out in SAP; GR and GI; incoming check).
- Monitor integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
- Manage demand exceptions and excursion to ensure smooth production run, through coordination with cross functional teams.
- Perform shipment export including ATA Carnet application.
- Evaluate existing supply chain processes to identify areas that need optimization via automation and software.
- Ensure all supplies, materials and goods are obtained on time and at a competitive rate.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost-effective and on-time delivery of materials.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives such as process automation, supplier consolidation and optimization of transportation routes.
- Train and oversee junior employees.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Proficient in SAP
- Strong understanding of production and business processes
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong sense of responsibility with initiative
