Safety and Health Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Safety and Health Assistant to join their team!
Are you passionate about maintaining safety and health standards in construction environments? This role is perfect for you! You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a hazard-free workplace by assisting the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer.
Other Information:
- Working Day: 5.5 days
- Working Timing: 8am-5pm / 8am-12pm
- Working Location: Singapore Islandwide depend on project. HQ at Punggol
- Salary Range: $2,500-$3,200
- Assist WSH Officer: Help manage safety and health issues specific to construction projects.
- Promote Safety: Encourage safe work practices and enforce them at the construction site.
- Prepare Reports: Create and submit safety reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Site Inspections: Regularly inspect sites to identify and eliminate hazards.
- Coordinate Activities: Ensure construction activities align with approved plans and safety standards.
- Monitor Manpower: Keep track of worker attendance and support project scheduling.
- Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Follow Up: Address issues found during inspections with relevant authorities.
- Dispute Resolution: Facilitate communication to resolve worker disputes on site.
- Report Progress: Regularly update managers, engineers, and supervisors on project and safety status.
- Certificate Requirement: Possess WSQ Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) certificate.
- Experience: Candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar role are preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills are essential to effectively coordinate with site workers and authorities.
